  With over 50 talking head interviews filmed over 2 months, Take 1 worked closely with Shine to produce timcoded transcripts of the rushes from VHS with BITC. Deadlines and budgets were tight, but we ensured the edit went smoothly.

  “Peep Show” - 6 x 30m Ch4

  After a hectic on-line edit, Take 1 produced accurate Post Production Scripts including SYNC and V/O in 24 hours for Objective Productions, fulfilling Ch4's delivery requirements and enabling the series to be subtitled into other languages.

  “Wife Swap” - 12 x 30m Ch4

  For the third year running, Take 1 were asked to produce Post Production Scripts for Wife Swap by RDF. Working from DVD with BITC, we prepared full-spec scripts. Due to the content, all our transcribers signed confidentiality agreements.

  “His Big White Self” - 1 x 90m Ch4

  Filmed on location in South Africa about notorious supremacist Eugene Terreblanche, controversial film director Nick Broomfield asked Take 1 to translate many of the Afrikaans and Zulu interviews into timecoded English transcripts. This empowered his English editor to edit the foreign rushes with confidence.

  “Grumpy Old Men” - 4 x 40m BBC

  Timecoded audio cassettes were made up on location and biked to us each evening. Working through the night Take 1 produced timecoded transcripts in 24 hours. Over 30 audio cassettes were handled in this project.
